What is Green Coffee?

They are raw and unroasted coffee beans that is why they are green in color. It does not taste like regular coffee but has a mild taste more like herbal tea. They contain high levels of antioxidants called Chlorogenic Acid, which comes with numerous health benefits.

These beans are grown in warm or tropical conditions.

Green coffee is taken in various forms, some like to have it as a hot beverage, and others take the extract in the form of capsules.

How does it help in weight loss?

Higher levels of Chlorogenic Acid helps the body in reducing the absorption of fat and glucose and lowering the insulin levels which improves the metabolic functioning of the body and doesn’t let the body store the fat. Rather burn it and keep those extra kilos at bay.

lose an average of 2.5 to 3.7 kg of body weight

Normally after we eat a meal, a high volume of glucose is released in the bloodstream and the body burns it for energy. But if this energy is not used or not needed then it is saved as fats and that’s when all the extra weight comes in.

Researches have shown that adults with flabbiness who take a specific green coffee extract (Svetol, Naturex) five times daily for 8 weeks to 12 weeks, either alone or together with their regular coffee, lose an average of 2.5 to 3.7 kg of body weight.
